Job Description

Monitor front entrance to Robinson Center; check user ID's, maintain Robinson Center courtesy information center answering questions such as building hours, building rules and directions to activities in Robinson Center. Administer Robinson Center rules for the safety of building users. Other responsibilities as requested by supervisor, such as building head count, securing all interior and exterior doors.

Required Qualifications

  1. KU student must be enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours each semester per academic year
  2. Courteous, tactful, and reliable as evidenced by application materials and interview

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Good communication skills

Additional Candidate Instructions

Application Deadline: Positions are filled on an as-needed basis throughout the semester.

Conditions of Employment: Students holding student hourly appointments must be enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours during the academic year. Enrollment of one credit hour during the summer session is required if the student was not enrolled the previous spring or is not pre-enrolled in the upcoming fall term.
