Job Description

The Center for Teaching Excellence is accepting applications for 2-3Undergraduate Research Assistants to evaluate evidence-based practice in higher education. Job Responsibilities include the following:
  • Scheduling with faculty and staff on the Lawrence campus.
  • Completion of classroom observation ratings.
  • Management of observation data.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be in good academic standing in a KU undergraduate program.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, as evidenced by application materials.
  • Experience working independently and working in an organized and professional manner, as evidenced by application materials.
  • Experience working with a wide variety of individuals, departments, and schools, as evidenced by application materials.
  • PC or Macintosh experience and knowledge of software programs, including Microsoft Word and Excel as well as web browsers, as evidenced by application materials.
  • Data management skills, as evidenced by application materials.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Sophomore or junior standing.
  • Experience taking hybrid/blended, online, or laboratory courses.
