Job Description

Performs routine duties associated with cage sanitation and preparation for reuse in a research setting. Provides routine husbandry and care of research animals.

Required Qualifications

  1. Must be able to work with and around animals and animal waste
  2. Currently enrolled KU student in good academic standing
  3. Valid driver’s license
  4. Ability to perform physical tasks, such as gripping, reaching, bending, and regularly lift 50 pounds (with or without accommodations)
  5. Must have 3-4 hour block from at least 3 days a week (M-F)
  6. Must have weekend availability

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Prior animal or research experience
