Job Description

Design the curriculum and syllabus for two high school summer recruitment camps in advance of camp. The designer will confer with the camp directors on a regular basis. Instruct lab sessions with HS camp participants during summer camps. Instructor will present lab sessions and oversee small groups of students in predetermined engineering disciplines. Instructor will act as guide regarding camper disciplines, maintain camp goals and camper safety. Instructor will encourage excitement and motivation for participants to complete challenges.

Required Qualifications

Must be able to participate the entire week for both camp sessions July 8-12 and July 15-19, 2018

**During the semester term of the appointment, the student hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours. For summer periods the student hourly must: 1) have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester or 2) be pre-enrolled in upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours or 3) be enrolled in summer session or 4) be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester. Student Hourlies may be undergraduate or graduate students. (Exceptions granted for GRA/GTA/GA appointments DO NOT apply to Student Hourly appointments).

Preferred Qualifications

Preference given to students in good-student standing within the School of Engineering, at the Sophomore, Junior, or Senior level.
