Job Description

1. Box and ship book orders
2. Answer main phone line and take orders
3. File, copy, and assist staff as necessary
4. Score both computer-based and paper/pencil measures
5. Work collaboratively with researchers, instructional coaches, and teachers
6. Assist office manager as necessary
7. Other tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications

1. Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours at KU
2. High degree of computer literacy as evidenced in application materials
3. Excellent written communication skills as evidenced in application materials
4. Prior experience in a position that required flexibility and attention to detail
5. Candidate must have blocks of times available during and mid-afternoon to complete tasks
6. Candidate must be able to commit 15-20 hours a week scheduled between 8:00am-4:00pm, Monday through Friday
7. Must also be able to work over the Summer term
8. Must be able to lift 35-45 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

1. Excellent oral communication skills
2. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
3. Experience working on K-12 educational research projects
4. Interest in conducting educational research
