The Assistant Director position, reporting to the Associate Director for Diversity and Access Initiatives, plays an important role in the execution of events designed to increase college readiness and access. The position will also work closely with the Associate Director for Diversity and Access Initiatives on creating a comprehensive recruitment event strategy to recruit a more diverse student class.

The Assistant Director is part of the Diversity and Access Initiative strategic planning team and the Campus Visit team in the Office of Admissions. In addition, the position supports the overall university recruitment efforts by providing recruitment support through participation in campus visit programming, conducting large and small group presentations, and meeting with prospective students and guests. This position requires travel by automobile or plane to any city or region/event where events coordinated take place. Some evening and weekend work required.

This position will also supervise one graduate assistant and work with the Multicultural Recruitment Team, a group of Student Ambassadors with a focus on multicultural recruitment and outreach.
