Position Overview
KU School of Business is hiring a student to join the Management and Entrepreneurship Area team for Fall 2023. Duties include providing admin and planning support to the Director of Entrepreneurship Co-Curricular Programming as the area works to support the School of Business as the Entrepreneurial Hub of KU. Projects will vary in scope and size, but students may anticipate working up to 19 hours a week.
This is a wonderful opportunity for students to obtain experience building our entrepreneurial ecosystem through the development of events, programs, and infrastructure to support the entrepreneurial mindset at KU. The team member will hone their relationship and communication skills while expanding their network.

Job Description
Job Duties
- Meet regularly with the Director of Entrepreneurship Co-Curricular Programming to organize goals for the week.
- Work collaboratively with the Director to design project timelines and produce deliverables.
- Communicate in a timely and effective manner with partners and various stakeholders.
- May be responsible for presentations, satisfaction surveys or program reports.
- Will conduct Entrepreneurship programming interviews for the website.
- Assist with administrative duties for the Entrepreneurship Area such as emails, scheduling meetings and creating gift bags.
- Must be available to attend most, if not all, Entrepreneurship programming.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a KU student enrolled in at least 6 credit hours.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suites. Especially, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
During the semester term of the appointment, the KU student hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours. For summer periods the student hourly must: 1) have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester or 2) be pre-enrolled in upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours or 3) be enrolled in summer session or 4) be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester. Student Hourlies may be undergraduate or graduate students.
