The University of Kansas School of Business Financial Unit is looking for student employees to assist with primary job functions in Accounting, Human Resources and /or Admin Assistant.

Job Description

The KU School of Business is hiring for a student hourly position. The student worker will be an active team member and must possess the highest level of integrity and confidentiality due to the nature of the work generated in the office and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. This is a great opportunity for hands-on experience, which can strengthen your knowledge and help build your resume.

Required Qualifications

1. Must be current KU student
2. During the semester term of the appointment, the KU student hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours. For summer periods the student hourly must: 1) have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester or 2) be pre-enrolled in upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours or 3) be enrolled in summer session or 4) be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester. Student Hourlies may be undergraduate or graduate students. (Exceptions granted for GRA/GTA/GA appointments DO NOT apply to Student Hourly appointments)
3. Microsoft and Excel experience
4. Excellent written skills as evidenced in application materials
5. Strong attention to detail as determined by application materials

Preferred Qualifications

1. A current Business School student
2. Verbal communication skills and the ability to work with multiple faculty and professional students
3. Demonstrate advanced computer skills and experience in enterprise systems
4. Organizational and problem solving skills and the ability to work independently on projects
5. Available to work during the summer
