Position Overview
The person in the position will be responsible for conducting tours of the Film & Media Studies facilities with prospective students and families in Summerfield Hall throughout the academic year.
Job Description
80% - In coordination with the Administrative Associate, candidate will help schedule and be available for tours on a weekly basis.
10% - In preparation for those tours, candidate may be asked to engage in other light duties, such as cleaning, organizing, putting together informational materials and other duties as requested by FMS chair or staff.
10% - Standing, walking, stairs, light cleaning duties (sweeping, dusting, mopping).

Required Qualifications
- Graduate Student or FMS major/minor in sophomore year.
- During the semester term of the appointment, the student hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours. For summer periods the student hourly must: 1) have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester or 2) be pre-enrolled in upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours or 3) be enrolled in summer session or 4) be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester. Student Hourlies may be undergraduate or graduate students. (Exceptions granted for GRA/GTA/GA appointments DO NOT apply to Student Hourly appointments).
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with FMS production spaces and equipment including the Sound State, Recording Studio, Production Classroom and Computer Lab.
- Have taken and completed at least one FMS production course
