Job Description

Paper grader for various Physics, Astronomy, and/or Engineering Physics courses being offered during Spring 2019. This appointment is for the Spring semester only.

Required Qualifications

  1. EPHX/PHSX/ASTR Major
  2. Has taken equivalent course they will be grading
  3. During the semester term of the appointment, the student hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours. For summer periods the student hourly must:
    • have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester or
    • be pre-enrolled in upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours or
    • be enrolled in summer session or
    • be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester. Student Hourlies may be undergraduate or graduate students. (Exceptions granted for GRA/GTA/GA appointments DO NOT apply to Student Hourly appointments).

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Applicants should be reliable and able to work independently as shown in application material

A complete application will include a resume, a cover letter detailing your experience, and include a copy of your Degree Progress Report (DPR). Applicants without coursework history in Physics, Astronomy, or Engineering Physics will not be considered.
