POOL - Lecturer - Information Technology
A successful candidate must have appropriate authorization to work in the U.S. before employment begins. Any employment with the University of Kansas is contingent upon satisfactory completion of a background check. Appointments are one semester, renewable and subject to review, funding, and adequate student enrollment.
40% - Develops and grades assignments, projects and exams.
20% - Supervises course projects and in-class lab sessions, evaluates student work, and provides feedback to students. Maintains office hours as necessary to meet students needs.
- Earned master’s degree in information technology, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering or a closely related technical discipline. A master’s degree in other fields may be considered if combined with two or more years of professional experience directly relevant to the teaching assignment.
- At least two years or more practical experience in information technology.
- Earned doctorate in information technology, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering or a closely related technical discipline.
