Position Overview

Agile Technology Solutions (ATS) a center within Achievement and Assessment Institute is looking for a motivated QA Analyst to join its team. This individual will be part of a high performing technology team that is focused on designing and developing next generation learning solutions. Day to day activities will include evaluating upcoming software changes and working with the QA lead to develop required testing materials and to execute required tests.

Job Description

50% - Analyzes and evaluates software release features/defects and prepares required quality assurance artifacts (test cases, suites, test data) to complete quality assurance process for the proposed changes. Conducts reviews of these artifacts with project management and developers, incorporating their input into the final product.

40% - Certifies the release by performing appropriate type of testing (functional, data validation, regression) that takes into account software or system functional specifications provided by end-users /stakeholders and internal development team. Discusses with developers any defects identified, helping them to understand the issue and expected behavior. Also works closely with the client on their defects, communicating when issues are resolved and ready for their review.

10% - Participates in project team meetings, status reporting, design reviews. Provides input on work being done, raises issues/concerns on schedule and quality of release.

Required Qualifications

  1. Associate degree and 3 years' relevant experience working in quality assurance.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience with Microsoft office products including Sharepoint.
  2. Experience working directly with clients.
  3. Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities
  4. Excellent writing and analytical skills
  5. Basic SQL knowledge.
  6. Exposure to automated testing intiatives.
