Position Overview

Perform supervised research associated with high-throughput analyses of immune responses. This research includes, but is not limited to, processing of immune cells, plasmid production, protein production and purification, and functional analysis of antibody molecules.

Major responsibility #1: Perform studies associated with fulfillment or preparation or grants, contracts and subcontracts.
Plan and execute experiments involving, processing of immune cells, plasmid production, protein production and purification, and functional analysis of antibody molecules.

10%
Major responsibility #2: Perform new research in the development of new lines of research
Participate in novel research activities associated with on-going research projects and pilot studies for new projects.

10%
Major responsibility #3: Laboratory maintenance
Work with other laboratory members to maintain the cleanliness of the lab including but not limited to ordering and maintaining equipment, washing and putting away lab dishes, and other laboratory maintenance.

5%
Major responsibility #4: Supervisor/Trainer of students
Training and supervision of new undergraduate students in routine laboratory practices.

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor's in a biotechnology field.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Laboratory experience of at least 3 years.
2. Ability to manage and organize multiple research projects.
3. Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
