Position Overview


Job Description

To assist with researching & writing grant applications and coordinating supplementary materials; to assist with reporting procedures for all grants including existing foundation grants.

Required Qualifications

  • KU graduate student currently enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for 2022/2023 Academic Year.
  • Strong communication skills as demonstrated by cover letter and work history.
  • Experience with PC computer platforms (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.) as evidenced by application materials.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills as evident by application materials.
  • Effective communication skills, as evident by application materials.
  • Constructive interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and self-motivated and reliable.
  • Prior office experience.

Work Schedule

9 - 12 hours per week Monday–Friday, between the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. based on class schedule. More hours may be needed during grant periods and less hours at other times.
