Postdoctoral Researcher
Position Overview
The Unckless lab uses a range of genetic, genomic, and molecular technologies to better understand the evolution of immune defense and how different species adapt to immune challenges. This project involves significant work with Drosophila, including experimental infections, next-generation sequencing, analysis, and CRISPR genome editing. The position is funded through a multi-year NSF grant and has an anticipated start date of 1 January 2025 (although this is very flexible).
