EECS Shopworker Attendant- Junior Position - Student Hourly
Job Description
90% Distribute probe kits and electronic components; maintain inventory of kits and stock; medial repair to tools, basic electronic equipment, and accessories; perform routine maintenance, calibration, and verification of equipment; communicate with faculty and students concerning service issues;
5% General janitorial tasks in work area;
5% Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of basic electronic tools, equipment, and accessories; basic electronic theory; ability to recognize electronic component packaging (TO cases, SM, axial, raldial, DIP, etc.); basic soldering proficiency; strong verbal skills; basic computer literacy in both hardware and software (OS only)
- During the semester term of the appointment, the student must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours. For summer periods, the student hourly must: (1) have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester; (2) be pre-enrolled in the upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours; (3) be enrolled in summer session; or (4) be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester.
Preferred Qualifications
- Successful completion of EECS 140 Intro to Digital Logic Design
