POOL - Student Research Assistant - I2S
Job Description
Support research in one of the Institute for Information Sciences (I2S) centers. The I2S Centers are Center for Communications, Materials and Photonics; Center for Cyber-Social Dynamics; High Assurance and Secure Systems Center; Mathematical Methods & Interdisciplinary Computing Center; and Remote Sensing Laboratory. Specific research duties are determined on-the-job according to the needs of the professor, staff, and graduate students working on the specific project.
Required Qualifications
1. Undergraduate student in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
2. Programming experience in C++ / Java as evidenced by application material
3. Must meet KU minimum enrollment requirement for employment.
**During the semester term of the appointment, the student hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours. For summer periods the student hourly must: 1) have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester or 2) be pre-enrolled in upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours or 3) be enrolled in summer session or 4) be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester. Advertised Salary Range
