Project Management Intern - Healium


Position Overview

We seek a dynamic and enthusiastic Project Management Intern to join our innovative team at Healium. This role offers a unique opportunity to dive into the rapidly evolving world of Virtual Reality (VR) and help us build a comprehensive knowledge base that makes the art and science of Healium feel like magic. If you are passionate about VR, eager to learn, and ready to make a meaningful impact, we’d love to hear from you!

You’ll learn VR from the ground up, build a knowledge base to support our customers and help train an AI model based on your work.

This is a part-time position, up to 20 hours per week, until a minimum of 120 hours is achieved (internship requirement). Due to this being a collaborative position, the position will report to both the Director of Entrepreneurship Co-Curricular Programs at the University of Kansas School of Business and the company partner. The position is contingent on funding.

Job Description

20% Weekly Meetings:
  • Meet 1-2 times a week for training and assignments.
  • Discuss findings and provide feedback.
80% Project Management:
  • Developing and executing plans and projects.
  • Developing project updates including project presentations.
  • Identifying next steps in the project.

Required Qualifications

  1. Extreme attention to detail.
  2. Availability to meet virtually weekly.
  3. Demonstrated coachability, time management, and self-leadership skills.
  4. Willingness to help others.
  5. During the semester term of the appointment, the student hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours. For summer periods the student hourly must:
    1. have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester or
    2. be pre-enrolled in the upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours or
    3. be enrolled in summer session or
    4. be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester. Student Hourlies may be for undergraduate or graduate students. (Exceptions granted for GRA/GTA/GA appointments DO NOT apply to Student Hourly appointments).

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Interest in AI.
  2. Interest in Virtual Reality.
  3. Hubspot Experience.
  4. Basic Website Design.
