Student Assistant
Position Overview
We are seeking two motivated student assistants to assist with the recruitment of participants, for a project-based assignment. The student assistants will work under the guidance of the project principal investigator, Dr. Nataliya Bredikhina, to collect contact information of NCAA coaches and athletics staff and send out recruitment emails to student-athlete support staff and student-athletes. The positions are available for four weeks from around mid-February to late March, with a commitment of 8 hours per week. The pay is $15 per hour (i.e., $480 for 4 weeks). This is a great opportunity for students interested in topics related to student-athlete affairs and/or research.
Per the State of Kansas, student employees may hold concurrent appointments not to exceed maximum appointment and hours worked levels. However, concurrent student appointments must be of matching FLSA designation (exempt/salaried or non-exempt/hourly).

Job Description
- 80% = participant recruitment
- 10% = training
- 10% = reporting
Required Qualifications
- Familiarity with MS Excel as evidenced by application materials
- During the semester term of the appointment, the student hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours. For summer periods the student hourly must: 1) have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester or 2) be pre-enrolled in upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours or 3) be enrolled in summer session or 4) be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester. Student Hourlies may be undergraduate or graduate students. (Exceptions granted for GRA/GTA/GA appointments DO NOT apply to Student Hourly appointments)
