Student Creative Director, Center of Community Outreach
Position Overview
This position oversees design and promotional product development for the CCO. The Student Creative Director maintains the CCO’s brand identity and coordinates with all CCO programs on their promotional needs. This position serves as a member of the CCO’s Executive Staff.

Job Description
Design and Branding – 75%
Executive Staff Collaboration – 20%
Additional relevant tasks and projects as determined throughout the term – 5%
- Maintain the Center for Community Outreach brand in conjunction with the Communications Director.
- Distribute design advertisements and graphics to promote the Center for Community Outreach and all programs and events.
- Create design material in a timely manner for all programs and executive staff.
- Maintain and update the CCO website and social media sites in conjunction with the Executive and Communications Directors.
Executive Staff Collaboration – 20%
- Participate in weekly Peer Advising meetings with the Executive and Communications Directors.
- Contribute to CCO Executive Staff meetings.
- Attend CCO Advisory Board meetings and report position updates.
- Work collaboratively with all executive staff to evaluate progress and set goals from the CCO.
- Report directly to the Executive Director and Managing Director.
Additional relevant tasks and projects as determined throughout the term – 5%
Required Qualifications
- Evidenced commitment to community outreach and service.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others as evidenced in application materials.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign & Illustrator.
- Visual communication skills as evidenced by application materials.
- During the semester term of the appointment, the student hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours. For summer periods the student hourly must: 1) have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester or 2) be pre-enrolled in upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours or 3) be enrolled in summer session or 4) be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester. Student Hourlies may be undergraduate or graduate students. (Exceptions granted for GRA/GTA/GA appointments DO NOT apply to Student Hourly appointments).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working with the Center for Community Outreach.
