Job Description
KU Information Technology’s Academic Technology Support Team is an active team of KU students tasked with supporting KU faculty, staff, and students with their use of technology. Academic Technology Support Team (ATST) members assist with KU IT services, including:
Prospective ATST students should enjoy problem-solving, collaboration with teammates, and practicing excellent customer service. Self-motivated candidates, with a willingness to learn new things, should thrive in this position.
The technical skills needed in this position will be provided through training and mentoring with staff and supervisors. The ATST provides an all encompassing and rewarding work environment for KU students. Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, as evidenced by application materials and interview.
- Enrolled in at least 6 hours at The University of Kansas.
Position requirements:
- Available to work 10-20 hours per week during semesters and 10-35 hours per week during summer.
Preferred Qualifications
- Audio-visual technology and presentation technology experience.
- Experience with software or platforms that KU IT’s Academic Technology units support.
- Customer service experience.
- Experience working independently and in a team-oriented environment.
