Position Overview
The Undergraduate Student Researcher position will be for the spring semester, with possible continuation into future semesters, depending on funding and progress made by the student. Consideration will be given for continuing this appointment at the end of each semester, by the supervisor.
Job Description
Student will work on simulation and software relevant to the RET experiment and other UHE neutrino experiments in KU's Astroparticle group. Student will be responsible for meeting regularly with the professor and possibly working in tandem with other students. Presentation of results will also be possible, either in paper, poster, or talk form.

Required Qualifications
- Coding experience, as shown in application materials.
- During the semester term of the appointment, the student hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours. For summer periods the student hourly must: 1) have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester or 2) be pre-enrolled in upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours or 3) be enrolled in summer session or 4) be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester. Student Hourlies may be undergraduate or graduate students. (Exceptions granted for GRA/GTA/GA appointments DO NOT apply to Student Hourly appointments).
