Summer G Student Hourly
Position Overview
Hourly Position, schedule varies. Position will provide support to the Kansas Women’s Leadership Institute (KWLI) via research and academic support duties, and participant support.
Job Description
- 65% - coach participants in-person on their projects, provide guidance on academic materials, attend coaching pre and post meetings, update admin team on progress of participants’ projects.
- 30% - Provide written feedback on assignments, grade project modules, evaluate and provide written feedback on final presentations.
- 5% - Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Must be in a graduate program
- Familiarity with the University of Kansas, its policies and procedures.
- Must have some evening and weekend availability.
- During the semester term of the appointment, the student hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours. For summer periods the student hourly must: 1) have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester or 2) be pre-enrolled in upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours or 3) be enrolled in summer session or 4) be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester. Student Hourlies may be undergraduate or graduate students. (Exceptions granted for GRA/GTA/GA appointments DO NOT apply to Student Hourly appointments)
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with KWLI, or similar populations.
- Prior experience with leadership studies and/or leadership development.
